Rosaleen Blair, the founder and CEO of Alexander Mann Solutions, is widely credited with pioneering the concept of recruitment process outsourcing in Europe, since. Since the company was founded in 1996, Alexander Mann Solutions has become the recognised global leader in recruitment process outsourcing (RPO), building world-class talent functions for its clients that cover permanent, contingent, internal mobility, graduate and talent resourcing programmes.

Rosaleen continues to lead from the front, with her vision and creativity driving the business and its people forward to further success. In 2010 she was named as a Global HRO Superstar by HRO Today magazine and was the only UK representative on the list. This title can be added to her list of other notable achievements that include winning Ernst & Young’s London Business Products & Services Entrepreneur of the Year in 2006, and the prestigious Veuve Clicquot Business Woman of the Year in 2007.

Marjorie Toucas joined SuccessFactors in 2009, responsible for leading substantial growth in SuccessFactors’ EMEA, focusing on small and medium-sized businesses, as the leading supplier of on-demand Business Execution solutions, including goal management, competency management, succession planning, compensation planning, workforce analytics and performance reviews. Prior to joining SuccessFactors, Marjorie held a number of successful senior roles which included building and growing the SMB Sales infrastructure and developing the market for that segment in EMEA over a 4 year period at MySQL AB as Director of EMEA Corporate Sales and Worldwide Lead Development. Marjorie also spent time at Oracle, as EMEA Education and Research Direct Sales Manager. Marjorie is a graduate of the University of Lyon, France, and Karl Franzens University Graz, Austria, and holds a degree in International Trade and a Masters degree in European Corporate Management and Business from the University of Nantes, France, and Manchester Metropolitan University, England. Marjorie resides in Dublin, Ireland.

Michael Puri, Head of Talent, Learning & Development International, Staples

Michael is based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. His responsibilities span across the core talent management areas of the employee life-cycle from acquisition to performance management, learning and development, succession planning and career development. In January 2010, Michael joined the International division of Staples which represents 17.000 employees across 24 countries. Michael comes to Staples from UCB, a global biopharma organization, with which he was based in Belgium. At UCB, Michael was Senior Director of Global Talent Development for the past four years. He has also served as UCB’s Director of Corporate Compensation & International Mobility for three years.
Michael is of Indian-Polish origin, born in New Delhi. He has lived, studied and worked in over 12 countries. A graduate of the University of Nantes with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and with a Master’s Degree in Strategic Marketing from a business school in Grenoble, Michael also has professional experience with the Dexia Group, the Hay Group, and Novartis.

Paul Harrison, VP of HR Global Shared Services and Outsourcing, Sun Microsystems

Paul Harrison is VP of HR Global Shared Services and Outsourcing at Sun Microsystems. He is responsible for HR operations and service delivery across 50 countries and the management of one of the most extensive global HR outsourcing contracts in the industry. Paul has had a number of positions in Sun including HR Director, EMEA and international assignments in the US and Asia. Previous to Sun, Paul held senior HR positions at GE and Unisys. He has a degree in Economics from Bristol University and is a Fellow of the Institute of Personnel and Development. He lives in Hampshire with his wife and enjoys country walking and many sporting activities such as Tennis, Football and Cricket.

Harvey Francis, Executive Vice President, Human Resources, Skanska

David Muir, CEO Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Crown Relocations

David was appointed as CEO of EMEA in 2003 having previously served as CEO of the Americas since 1998. David is in charge of Crown’s 74 operations in 27 EMEA countries, as well as quality management and operational excellence for the Group. As a Board member, he shares worldwide responsibility for the strategic development and overall management of the company. He is currently based in Prague, Czech Republic.

David joined Crown in 1996 as Senior Vice President of the Western Region of the United States where he managed the opening of several strategic new operations throughout the Americas.

Born in Scotland, David has 30 years of relocation industry experience and is a member of the Employee Relocation Council (ERC). He previously held the position of Vice President of the British Association of Removers (BAR) while working in the UK. He is a regular speaker at relocation industry related conferences and human resources seminars in Europe & USA.

Sue Round - Head of Leadership Development, Sainsbury’s

Mike Clarke, VP of HR, Hertz International

Mike Clarke serves as Vice President, HR , Hertz International. He has direct responsibility for country and region-based HR Business Partners for the company’s vehicle and equipment rental businesses in Europe, Middle East and Africa and Asia Pacific markets. Mike provides strategic HR support for the senior management team of Hertz International and plays a key role on the global HR Leadership team of the Hertz Corporation.

Drawing upon his wealth of experience, Mike is playing a leading role at driving strategic, transformational change within both Hertz and the HR centre of expertise. He is adept managing HR operations across geographies and business units. He is also an expert in delivering cultural change processes focused on driving values and behaviours in line with strategic goals.

Mike brings to Hertz a strong operational and HR background as well as vast international and business restructuring experience. Prior to Hertz he was the Senior VP of HR – Europe for Fiat Group, and previously VP, HR - International for Tenneco.

Nick Kemsley, Group Vice President Organisation Effectiveness, TravelPort

Nick Kemsley is Group Vice President Organisational Effectiveness for Travelport, a global, private equity owned provider of technology solutions and services to the travel sector, with a presence in more than 150 countries worldwide. His main role is to maximise efficiency and productivity, whilst at the same time developing the future organisational capability which Travelport will need for the future. Nick also has global responsibility for Travelport’s resourcing, talent, performance and L&D functions, as well as performing the “Number Two” global HR role to Group CHRO Lee Golding. Nick came into HR from the wider business, and has a multi-sector background with companies including Prudential, Mars and BOC Group.

Christopher McLaverty, VP HR Leadership, Talent and Resourcing, BP

Christopher is currently VP HR Leadership Development, Talent and Resourcing, based in London. He joined BP in May 2005 as VP HR Corporate and Functions and up to September 2008 was responsible for HR covering the 12,000 staff centralized into functions, regions and the corporate centre, plus HR for BP Shipping.

His human resources career began in the food company HJ Heinz and continued in the drinks business with Guinness/Diageo. He held a variety of line and HR roles. Christopher moved to Accenture in 1996, where he worked in the Change Management Practice, consulting on HR, Organization Development and Leadership with clients in oil, investment and retail banking and insurance. In 2001, he joined Lloyds TSB Bank as Director of Talent and Learning and he also ran the Corporate University, covering 100,000 staff in the UK, Latin America and Australasia

Christopher holds an MA from Cambridge University in Social Anthropology, a MBA from Henley Management College in London (1992) and a Masters degree in Organizational Clinical Psychology from INSEAD in France (2005). When he is not working, Christopher enjoys keeping fit and travelling in Native America with his wife and three children.

Per-Arne Håkansson, Vice President Executive HR - A.P. Moller – Maersk

P-A Hakansson holds the position as Head of Executive and Headquarters Human Resources for A.P. Moller – Maersk. His responsibilities include recruitment, development and Compensation & Benefits management for the Group’s Executives. He is in addition responsible for Office employees at Group Headquarters in Copenhagen.
P-A has held positions as Global Head of Human Resources for TAC and Luvata. The larger part of his career has been in Business Management in HiTech companies.
He holds a Master degree in Political Science and a Bachelor degree in Psychology.

Stephen Fairn, Senior Vice President, International Operations, Pricoa Relocation

Stephen Fairn, Senior Vice President, International Operations, is responsible for delivering an integrated international strategy in line with Pricoa Relocation’s goal of being the “global relocation company of choice.” He works closely with his teams in the US, Canada, Asia Pacific and EMEA to oversee the operations, implement sound corporate governance and risk management practices across the diverse marketplaces where our clients do business and ensure the company realizes its vision and growth targets.

Ruth Bond, Director, Learning & Development, Disneyland® Paris

With more than thirty years experience in hospitality, Ruth has worked in many different areas of Human Resources - organizational development, training & development, recruiting, executive coaching and as an HR generalist. Her professional career has led her to work in Europe, the Middle and Far East, and in North America. Born and educated in the UK, Ruth is a naturalised US citizen.

Dave Nelson, Process Director HR, Cadbury’s

Dave is the Process Lead for the Cadbury implementation of SAP HR in 67 countries. The project includes the implementation of HR self service and also the out sourcing of payroll and workforce administration services for over 50% of Cadbury’s 50,000 employees worldwide.

Dave joined Cadbury in 2001 working as HR Business Partner for IT and then for Manufacturing. Prior to Cadbury he worked as an HR Manager in the motor industry, including a process and policy role in BMW where he was responsible for UK-based employment policies.

Karl-Heinz Oehler, Vice President, Global Talent Management, Hertz Corporation

Karl-Heinz Oehler serves as Vice President, Global Talent Management for the Hertz Corporation. His responsibilities include talent acquisition, succession and high potential management, performance and career management, organizational learning, organization development and design, human capital measurement, and HR due diligence and post merger integration.

Karl-Heinz has over 30 years of extensive experience in developing both global human resources and organizational development strategies in a multicultural business context. He also has deep expertise in organization effectiveness, mergers and acquisitions, change management programs and program measurement.

Karl-Heinz is a popular speaker on HR and talent management topics. Previous speaker engagements include Osney Media, Jacob Fleming, Towers Perrin, Teneo Events, Marcus Evans, Leadership Forum, IATA Airport, and IMD.

Prior to joining Hertz. Karl-Heinz led Global Human Resources and Organization Development for the international division of The Reynolds and Reynolds Company. Previously, he worked for SITA (Société Internationale de Télécommunications Aéronautiques) where he held various vice president positions. Before then, he created and managed the Geneva branch of Personnel Decisions International, a global OD consulting firm. Previously Karl-Heinz worked for 15 years in senior positions in human resources, organization development, and marketing & sales with Texas Instruments.

A German national, Karl-Heinz holds a Masters Degree in Social Psychology and a Masters Degree in Economics both from the University of Düsseldorf. He is a member of the Association of Psychological Types. He is also a certified organizational auditor of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM). Karl-Heinz is based in Zurich, Switzerland, having previously lived and worked in Korea, Singapore, the United States, Finland, Sweden, France, and Germany.

Sara Bruck, Vice President Organisation Development, Visa Europe

Sara Bruck has been the Vice President of Organisation Development at Visa Europe since 2004. Sara has been at the forefront of creating and realising the organisation development strategy in order to deliver an environment in which people are engaged and passionate about improving business and personal performance.

Sara’s career has been committed to the Human Resource Management field and her first role was as a trainee with Marks and Spencer. She then spent a significant period of time in financial services and the public sector. In 1996 she gained a postgraduate degree in Human Resource Management, and she joined Visa Europe in 1997. With extensive European and UK experience across a range of specialisations, she recently entered into the field of Organisation Development.

Sara’s current priorities focus on the development of a new approach to talent management and succession planning. It also concentrates on the ongoing evolution of a leading edge behaviour change programme that seeks to achieve peak performance for the organisation by unleashing the potential of the individual. This programme is about a way of thinking, a way of harnessing an individual’s unique talents & enthusiasm and aligning these with personal, team and organisational purpose in order to achieve excellence.

Scott Kelly, Vice President Human Resources, EMEA, Hitachi Data Systems Ltd

With over 15 years of human resources experience, Scott has worked for Scottish Power, Motorola and Dun & Bradstreet, before his current role with Hitachi Data Systems.
Scott has been involved in the change process and in business partnering, he is very familiar with what is needed to make the business relationship a successful one.

Scott’s current focus is in helping support the Hitachi business in growing across the EMEA & APAC theatres. He has also had responsibilities in roles encompassing; change management, re-engineering, organizational design and effectiveness, employee commitment and HR transformation.

Dave Millner, Director of Consultancy EMEA, Kenexa

Dave Millner is the director of consultancy services for Kenexa’s Global Assessment Practice, and has established a professional HR consultancy practice with a range of products and services that complement and support psychometric and online assessments from Kenexa. This includes the development of a range of solutions to support the change in HR process and behavior that is required to make the HR function a true partner and business leader. Mr. Millner has also established and leads the Kenexa HR Institute (KHRI), which helps HR practitioners become more commercial and solution-oriented in their approach. He has worked directly with a variety of organisations, offering a range of assessment, development and performance-based solutions, including Siemens, Royal Bank of Scotland, BP, HM Treasury, HM Revenue and Customs, GE Money, Norwich Union–Aviva, Nakheel, BAE Systems, Hong Kong Jockey Club, Anglian Water and E.ON UK.

Before joining Kenexa, Mr. Millner worked for NatWest, now part of the RBS Group. With expertise in project/change management, strategic relationship management and consultancy and technical expertise, he has managed and implemented a diverse range of client and business-driven change projects through the design, application and implementation stages of organisational development processes and systems. In each of his consultancy projects, he provides expert advice, strategies and operational solutions that meet each client’s specific business needs.

Massimo Macarti, Chief of HR, Canon Europe

Massimo Macarti is Chief of Human Resources for Canon in Europe, Middle East and Africa, which is part of the Canon Global organisation delivering an annual turnover of more than ¥4,1 trillion.

Canon Europe employs about 11,000 people
across the EMEA region. Massimo’s responsibilities cover this entire region and all the Business Units and include all HR related spheres, such as Remuneration and Benefits, Talent and Resourcing, HR Operations, Learning and Development. Massimo is focussed on driving HR to become World Class together with developing the HR value proposition to support the business objective of sustaining profitability and growth by developing it’s people.

Before the European appointment Massimo spent most of his career in Canon Italia, where initially he held different roles in the Service and Support Area.

Subsequently he was appointed Director of Canon Business Solution Marketing, looking after areas like Product Marketing, Channel and Trade Marketing, Marketing Communication for the Business Products.

After that Massimo held responsibilities as Corporate Planning and Communication Director, and Information and Communication Technology Director before being appointed as Director of HR in Italy.

Jenny Arwas MBE, Director, BT Group Functions HR, BT Group

Jenny joined BT in 1977 and has enjoyed a varied career in a number of operational and HR roles across the BT Group. She spent the early part of her career in catering.

More recently after a spell managing the HR interests in BT’s European ventures, Jenny was appointed HR Director, for BT Openworld, BT’s own Internet Service Provider arm. Jenny was appointed MBE in the 2008 New Year’s Honours, for services to charity. She is a member of the Princes Trust London Council. She holds a non executive appointment in the pharmaceutical industry.
