Leanne Peckover’s career at House of Fraser began in 2001 where she started on a student placement programme from Sheffield Hallam University. Throughout her career learning technology has played an important role, she is responsible for developing the annual strategy and delivering a return on investment to the business.

The Open University – Francis Cattermole, Lecturer in Management Development, Centre for Professional Learning and Development
Francis is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. He has tutored The Open University’s MBA programme for 18 years. Professionally he has worked freelance as a business psychologist for 15 years, with clients in manufacturing (from high tech to iron foundry) pharmaceuticals, financial services, civil engineering, packaging and the public sector (central and local government, police and the health service).
Francis’ main interventions involve change management (with a focus on managing people through change), executive coaching, training in creativity and innovation, and management development. A particular strength in his management development programmes has been enabling technical, engineering and scientific professionals to understand the significance of the people side of the business, and adapt their management styles to be more effective with their staff.
RSA Group – David Perring, Learning Technologies Consultant
David Perring has been involved in Learning Technologies for the last 10 years. Formerly Head of Learning Solutions and Technologies at Virgin Media, David is currently leading an exciting global project that will pull learning at RSA into the 21st century and enable the enterprise to take advantage of all of the benefits that learning technologies can bring.
South London Healthcare NHS Trust – Mark Cole, Learning & Development Business Partner – CPD
Mark Cole is Learning & Development Business Partner – Continuing Professional Development at South London Healthcare NHS Trust, where he leads on issues such as leadership development and talent management. Although originally trained as a teacher, his professional life has been largely spent in human resource development roles in the health care sector. Mark is especially interested in informal learning, knowledge management and organisational development. He is published on these topics in a number of academic journals. Mark is undertaking a professional doctorate at the University of Greenwich, where his research is concerned with the theory and practice of professional reflection.
The Open University – Charles Elvin, Director, Centre for Professional Learning and Development
Charles Elvin MA (Oxon) is responsible for the overall direction and strategy of the Open University’s dedicated Centre for Professional Learning and Development which delivers bespoke and open professional development solutions to corporate and individual clients. Prior to his current role Charles was the Global Director of BSI Learning at the British Standards Institution, responsible for BSI’s global commercial training and learning business. Charles has also previously held senior commercial roles delivering learning services in blue chip companies such as UBS and RM and worked extensively in the USA, Asia and Europe.
BAE Systems – Neil Grant, Interim Head of Learning and Development
Neil Grant is an experienced interim consultant who has solved major L&D challenges in large global blue chip organisations by drawing on his courageous approach to challenge the past, understand the present and simplify the future. Neil is used to trouble-shooting in organisations who need fresh impetus in learning, leadership and talent development.
TUI UK & Ireland – Henrietta Palmer, e-Learning Manager
Henrietta Palmer has been part of the e-learning industry for over 10 years. Originally working as an account manager specialising in Travel, Government and the NHS. In 2006 Henrietta became e-learning manager at First Choice, setting up the e-learning department to deliver the future needs of the business. The remit of this role expanded following the merger of First Choice & Thomson in 2008 (TUI UK & Ireland) with a focus on Retail, Airline, Overseas and Head Office functions.
Rosetta Stone UK Ltd – Jon Gilbert, Training Manager, Europe
Jon Gilbert is responsible for product training to Government, Corporate and Educational Institutions, as well as Rosetta Stone’s call centres and retail kiosks. He has extensive international training and consulting experience as a Computer Programmer, Business Analyst and Project Manager whilst based in Ottawa, Canada, for fourteen years, with a career spanning a wide variety of applications and industries in various organisations and businesses (public & private sector) worldwide. This has resulted in appreciating how important new language skills are to ‘open the door’.
After the next six years training Business Communication Skills in Tokyo, Japan, he returned to the UK in 2003 with a Japanese wife and son, both bilingual, and delivered Cross Cultural Awareness courses around Europe before joining Rosetta Stone in 2007.
Cineworld – Stuart Holdsworth, National Learning and Development Manager
Stuart Holdsworth has worked in the cinema exhibition industry for 14 years. He become Cineworld’s youngest General Manager when at 23 he was chosen to open the company’s tenth cinema in Shrewsbury. Following the acquisition of Cineworld’s parent company, Cine-UK by the Blackstone Group and the subsequent acquisition of UGC cinemas UK and Ireland operation; Stuart was appointed as the National Learning and Development Manager for the combined circuit. Having benefited from the companies policy of promoting from within, Stuart has been able to draw on experience from every level of the cinema operation which has been vital in the development of the company’s learning and development strategy.
