Heather Pitt, Communications Manager, Autoglass
Heather joined Autoglass® in 1999 in the newly created role of Internal Communications Manager within the HR Department.
She is responsible for the company-level, strategic planning and implementation of internal communications. Her role involves recognition and employee engagement in the brand and company values. She is part of the steering group responsible for guiding the business's customer service strategy, Be the Difference.
Heather has a BA (Hons) in Sociology and lives in Bedfordshire with her two children.

John Sylvester, Executive Director, P&MM
John Sylvester has been largely responsible for the development and growth of the motivation & incentive discipline with P&MM. Having worked in the motivation agency business since completing a business degree in 1984, John has spent the last fifteen years with P&MM, nine of them at main board level.
John is responsible for the company's premier key accounts and the motivation / IT operations area of the business.
John has a great depth of experience in developing, implementing and directing many large scale motivation and communications programmes, and is a recognised industry authority in the field of motivation, making regular contribution to industry press comment and speaking at leading industry conferences and seminars.

Stephen Bevan, Director of Research, The Work Foundation
Stephen is Director of Research at The Work Foundation. He is responsible for the delivery of a programme of both applied and frontier research on the world of work. With a team of 12 researchers, he oversees a programme of over 20 research studies each year, each designed to enhance the UK's evidence-base and to inform the climate of policy debate in the UK's Boardrooms and in Whitehall.
Stephen has carried out research & consultancy for the No. 10 Policy Unit, The Prime Minister's Office for Public Services Reform, DTI, DfES, Inland Revenue, HM Customs & Excise, Local Government Employers' Organisation, the Royal College of Nurses, DEFRA, HM Treasury, DoH, DWP, the Cabinet Office and the MoD. He has also worked for many 'blue-chip' employers and several research councils, charitable trusts and EU bodies. He sits on the Board of The Work Foundation and of The School of Coaching. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a Council Member of the HR Society.

Natalie Saunders, Former Reward Consultant, Partner, Levi & Co
Natalie studied law at Magdalen College, Oxford and qualified at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in September 2000. She joins the firm as employment partner.
In addition to her conventional legal background, Natalie spent two years as a reward consultant with a leading independent tax consultancy where she advised companies on the design, implementation and communication of human resources and reward strategies.
Natalie can advise not only on the full spectrum of UK employment law issues but also helps her clients put their practical obligations into a strategic context by looking at the ways in which their business strategy drives their HR and reward issues.
Her areas of expertise also include bonus planning and share option arrangements and the maximising of her clients' HR strategy through a holistic approach to human capital management, pay and benefits.

Andrew Johnson, Chair, The Voucher Association
Andrew Johnson began his career in hospitality and incentives 10 years ago at De Vere Hotels. Since then he has worked with Jersey Tourism and Legoland, Windsor, before joining Virgin Incentives in 2000 as the Sales & Marketing Director.
Following The Voucher Association's bi-annual election in June 2005, Andrew was elected as the new Chair of The VA, which represents the key players in the £1.45bn per annum voucher market.

Mike Emmott, Advisor Employee Relations, Chartered Institute of Personnel Development
Mike Emmott has been an adviser on employee relations at CIPD since 1996. His activities focus on public policy and research, and he contributes articles and comments on employment issues to specialist journals and the wider media. His current interests include the psychological contract; public sector HR; employee voice; work-life balance; corporate social responsibility; and employment law.
He is a former civil servant who spent most of his career in the Employment Department. He was private secretary to Barbara Castle MP and Michael Foot MP as Secretary of State for Employment, and spent two years on secondment to the Australian Department of Labor in Melbourne. He was at different times involved in the Grunwick dispute about trade union recognition and responsible for the national dock labour scheme. From 1987 to 1991 he was a member of the Executive Board of the Employment Service, subsequently becoming Deputy Director of the Office of Manpower Economics.
Mike has a 1st class degree in law (MA) from Cambridge University. In 1998 he completed a Master's degree in employment relations and law (LLM) at Kingston University, where he is now an industrial fellow. He is a member of the Industrial Law Society and chairs the DTI HR Advisory Group on Work and Families.

Paul Cooper, Communications Director, Institute of Customer Service
Paul is one of the UK's leading speakers on all matters to do with Customer Service. He has a very active speaking and chairing programme at seminars and conferences in the UK and overseas, and is known for his extrovert, entertaining and somewhat controversial views and style. He also appears regularly on radio and TV on such programmes as You and Yours, Working Lunch, 4x4 and the Edwina Currie Show, and writes numerous articles for newspapers and magazines.
Paul began his career with Ford Motor Company in 1969 and then moved to Ford Credit in 1978. 1981-1992 he was Managing Director of Ford Credit/Ford Leasing, firstly in Italy and then Australia/Asia Pacific, followed by a year in the US globalising Ford Credit's worldwide training operations.
Returning to the UK in 1993, Paul moved to UDT (TSB) as Regional Director. With the Lloyds Bank/TSB "merger" Paul decided to take very early retirement until the ICS recruited him as a Regional Director in September 1998. In January 1999, Paul was appointed Business Development Director, with responsibility for sales, marketing, organisational relationships, and press/media relations.
In all of these positions Paul had extensive responsibility for the establishment and developing of TQM and Customer Service programmes, and he is a Qualified Assessor for the European Quality Awards Programme and a regular judge for Awards programmes such as the European Call Centre Awards and the National Business Awards.
Paul is also lead singer in a Rock 'n' Roll band called Jurassic Rock and a jazz band called Selion Jazz, and is one of the organisers of the annual Clare World Music Festival, now in it's 9th year.

Nicola Marsden, Director of Group Communications, National Express Group
Nicola Marsden has over fifteen years experience in the Communications industry. She commenced her career with nationwide electrical retailer, Dixons Group PLC as a press officer responsible for promoting the Dixons portfolio of brands - Dixons, Currys and PC World. She played an active role in the Kingfisher v Dixons bid in 1989 and was appointed Corporate Affairs Manager in 1990.
In 1993 Nicola joined Financial Dynamics, one of the UK 's leading financial PR consultancies, responsible for a range of clients, cross sector. During this period of her career she was involved in financial and flotation work, including the flotation of Avis Europe, New Look and Railtrack.
With a specialism in retail and transport, in 2000 she joined National Express Group PLC, one of the UK's leading public transport organisations with operations in the North America and Spain coach, rail and tram transportation. She is Director of Group Communications and is responsible for the reputation of the Group, through its internal and external communication strategies. Nicola has been the impetus behind the launch of the NX employee survey and has been instrumental in putting resulting work streams into action.

John Fisher, Author and Columnist
John Fisher was managing director of one of the UK 's leading performance improvement agencies in the 1990s with partner Tony Moy after several years in direct marketing and the financial services sector as a client.
He is an incentives/event management business book author and trade magazine columnist. Past clients include AEG, Fiat, Aviva, Bradford & Bingley, Hotpoint/Creda and Barclays, amongst many others. John is also a key player in the ISP's newly developed ISP Motivation Diploma, responsible for writing the study notes, devising the exam questions and marking some of the results.
He is currently managing director of Oxford Motivation, the HR motivation and business performance specialists.
