Bullying and Harassment at Work
Wednesday, 8th November 2006
Bullying and harassment continues to be one of the biggest challenges for UK employers - recent cases have highlighted the enduring problem for UK organisations of an overly aggressive workplace. The recent decision by the House of Lords means that employees can now hold employers liable under anti harassment laws and has created a new legal channel for bringing claims against organisations. Over the past two months high profile cases, including organisations Deutsche Bank and St Thomas' NHS Trust, have changed the HR landscape as they have had their reputations compromised and their legal departments stretched to the limits trying to defend themselves against allegations of bullying and harassment.
The aim of this conference is to outline effective anti bullying and harassment strategies and a comprehensive legal update, providing a summary of effective methods through expert advice and best practise.
