Background
With the numbers of young people going to university
increasing, it is essential that employers develop and
improve their graduate recruitment programmes to capitalise
on the extra skills graduates have. For many organisations,
employing graduates is a no-brainer and graduate level
vacancies are due to rise by 12%. Worryingly, only two thirds
of recruiters are expecting to fill all their vacancies and half of
graduates believe that their university could have taken more
steps to prepare them for the workplace. Graduate
Recruitment 2008 addresses the issues that you face as a
graduate recruiter, and deals with the nitty-gritty detail of
recruiting graduates to your organisation. You will hear from
top recruiters and learn how they have developed their
graduate recruitment programmes to ensure they are
competitive, and attract and retain the most qualified
graduates from every milkround.
