Employer Branding Summit 2008
Improving Recruitment, Retention and Employee Engagement Strategies
Employer Branding is Key in the Fight For Talent
"More than 60% of chief executives said that the inability to attract and retain the best talent is now a key threat to their business" - Accenture's latest survey of CEO's
Employer branding is now highly relevant as increasing numbers of HR leaders and CEO's recognise that employer brand strategies are critical in attracting and retaining talent and in delivering core strategic objectives.
Potential employees are increasingly looking to join organisations with a good reputation, a reputable brand and a company that is known to be a good employer or an 'employer of choice'. The employer brand needs to state who the organisation is, it's values and what makes the organisation distinctive and unique. You therefore need to understand your employees, their reasons for working and what motivates them. You need to ensure your promise matches the internal reality, and you need to achieve coherence between departments and hierarchy.
A recent survey by Robert Half Consulting showed that "44% of UK companies have now implemented some kind of employer brand strategy" - leading to higher staff retention levels and improved attraction levels. But how are you making sure you are sustaining and evolving your brand to stay at the top?
Simple. By attending Symposium Events' Employer Branding Summit 2008 on 13 th and 14th February. This timely, solutions led conference offers best practice case studies from a wealth of top employers in a range of sectors. You will take home new strategies from leading employers such as Morrisons, Philips and Google to boost you on your path to becoming an employer of choice.
