Guy Hollebon is a partner and Head of Employment Law at Bevans solicitors. He has extensive experience of all aspects
of employment law. Guy is an accredited mediator with ADR
Group and he is actively involved within the mediation team at
Bevans. Guy is also co-author of ‘Mediation in the Workplace’.
Fiona Colquhoun, a CEDR Solve Mediator, is Director and Mediator with the remit to
develop conflict management and employment mediation for
organisations in all sectors. Fiona’s professional background
is as a board level HR Director in the IT and
telecommunications industries and previously in the NHS.
John Harker is Citi’s Head of Human Resources and Corporate
Affairs for the EMEA Region. He joined Citi in London in
December 2000 as Director of Human Resources for the
Corporate Bank in Europe. In June 2001 he was appointed
Managing Director HR for Citi’s Corporate and Investment
Bank in Europe and in 2003 to his current position for the
EMEA Region. Prior to joining Citi John spent 13 years with
Unilever which he joined in 1991 in Durban, South Africa where
he performed a number of HR assignments.
Michael Griffin is Director of Human Resources and a member
of the Board of King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
King’s was one of the first NHS Trusts to enter into a formal
partnership agreement with its Trade Unions and has been
recognised by awards from the DTI for its innovative approach
to partnership working, including the establishment of an
internal mediation service.
Tony Stafford is deputy director of the Dispute Resolution team in the Employment Relations directorate of the
Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform
(BERR). Tony has been involved in the Gibbons review and its
follow-up since 2006. He leads a BERR team which is working
with Acas, the Tribunals Service and others to refocus the
Government's employment resolution services, following up
the recommendations of the independent review led by
Michael Gibbons.
David Liddle is the founder and director of Total Conflict
Management – a leading mediation and dispute resolution
company. David is a thought leader in the areas of mediation
and alternative dispute resolution (ADR). He has worked with
some of the UK’s leading brands to embed their mediation
programmes and recently established the Professional
Mediators Association.
George Lepine is the HR Director at the Legal Services
Commission (LSC). He has transformed its HR function to
improve the service it provides to its customers. This change
is increasingly putting a premium on effective communication
and the involvement of people and their representatives in
decisions that affect their working lives and can quickly
become a cause of conflict.
Wendy Gay, Director of Workforce and Education, Lewisham Hospital NHS Trust
Wendy Gay is an experienced executive director with a proven record of developing and implementing substantial change programmes including reducing the workforce at Lewisham Hospital by 19% by working closely with trade unions. She has achieved substantial improvement across acute, primary and mental health care settings and in the voluntary sector. She initiates challenging tasks and has a systematic approach to ensuring their completion. With substantial experience in employee relations and working in partnership with trade unions Wendy has developed mediation schemes and successful consultation arrangements.
