Alex Aiken
Alex Aiken has been Head of Communications at Westminster City Council since May 2000 and his team has received a number of national PR awards, including the PR Week Public Sector Team of the year 2007. Between 2003 and2005 Alex was also Head of Communications at the London Borough of Richmond-upon-Thames in the first communications partnership agreement between two local authorities.

Alan Berry is Community Regeneration Manager at the South West RDA. He managed the business support programme for the South West during the Foot and Mouth epidemic, before joining the South West RDA to work on projects such as the artificial reef proposal and presently, the award-winning Market and Coastal Towns initiative.

Norman Ireland is Special Projects and Events Manager for Edinburgh City Council, a Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute and a Member of the Institute for Sport, Parks and Leisure. He has held various posts in Planning, Policy Planning and Strategic Services, including setting up and heading a European Affairs Unit, the first in the UK.
