Participation in an event organised by Symposium Events Ltd, does not imply that Symposium or any of our partner organisations or clients endorse the views presented.
As a matter of courtesy, we ask that any press releases or media briefings given by or on behalf of speakers should include full details of the event. We also ask that a draft be sent to us prior to distribution.
Symposium reserves the right to change or cancel speakers at any time.
An invitation to speak at a conference or seminar organised by Symposium Events does not constitute an offer of contract and no contractual or financial liability is incurred by either Symposium or by the speaker when any agreement to speak is reached. It is not, in general, our practice to pay speakers, but in exceptional circumstances we may meet costs for travel, accomodation or subsistence. In such cases, reimbusment will only be made provided that a written estimate of likely costs is provided at least one month in advance of the event and that any subsequent invoice is accompanied by appropriate receipts. We reserve the right to suggest alternative travel and accomodation arrangements.
Any material, such as slide presentations, video clips, speakers notes etc. supplied to Symposium for an event is submitted with permission to reproduce granted. Similarly, any material presented at an event, whether written, spoken or in any other way conveyed, may be reproduced by Symposium. Reproduction includes, but is not limited to, reprinting or transcription as a part of conference documentation; recording and transmission via webcasts, DVD or downloads; and quotation, in whole or part, in press releases and other marketing material. Where an event is subject to 'Chatham House Rules' this will be made clear to speakers and delegates at the event and reproduction of materials limited accordingly.
